All of the reviews about it's cheesiness are valid (except the phone upside down thing, many many apps right themselves when phone is upside down), and the security team is definitely cringey, no reason "Dragon" couldn't afford to use a sling for his AR or Shotty...not sure how he hasn't gotten sick of manually carrying them around the ranch. But where are these same people after episode 4?

I believe the scientists are trying to actually capture the real phenomena that occurs there, but the new owner is definitely a little cheesy and the History Channel apparently ONLY knows how to make things extra cheesy. If the show is based off real cases then we already know all about skin walker ranch and what happened.
This so called reality show seems to be horribly scripted, and hardly reality.
The funniest part is the owner coming on to say basically BS and say I have leave to go to a meeting. I really doubt there is anything worthy coming up, due to the fact that the old owner of the ranch who supposedly conducted experiments with the government on this property would sell this to some guy who is a real estate developer.

I did have high hopes for this series, but so far it is laughable. And speaking of...unless the bad acting really got to me...it seems like Brandon Fugal just hired a bunch of his buddies to do the research on the ranch. While I'm a big fan of George Knapp, he needs to distance himself from Brandon Fugal if he wants to retain any respect. Show needs to be re-tooled, without the tools. Hunt For The Skinwalker is a documentary about the most intensive scientific study of a UFO and paranormal hotspot in human history. Dude bought the place to try to make money off it, just like the past few owners.
They aren't actors so when they're forced to act it takes away from the credibility of the whole production...not because it's made up but because everything seems to be in the hands of amateurs. Just when I thought no one could be more annoying than Jeremy Corbell...Brandon Fugal shows up to take that prize. Utter garbage show.

Reports ranged from UFO sightings to … You find out what is in the box at the start of episode two & to be honest I laughed out loud when I saw what it was & why people were so scared to dig & they show you a full reenactment of why which just made me look at the screen in disbelief as to why they thought this was a good idea to show this insane rubbish in the show.

After seeing another review on here which mentioned "The hunt for skinwalker" (THFS) documentary with George knapp I thought I would watch that to find out a bit more about events at the ranch & even though that documentary got some poor reviews I watched the whole two hours of it & actually came away with more insight into the ranch & what happens & has happened there in the past and enjoyed it. You can plainly see the phone is upside down.
Had high hopes. I felt like I was watching an episode of Love It or List it with the contrived dialogues, constructed meet and greets and other interactions between the subjects.
Now, this is the only episode I've seen so far, so I can't judge the others, but this one?
If Tom gets affected working there, wby doesn't he quit????

If you really want know about Skinwalker Ranch, listen to George Knapp, don't watch this scripted reality show -- because that's really what it is. The anecdotal spooky stories, are just that. But it is too heavy on the corny. Just like this show.
. Save yourself some time & skip this & find something else to watch. It's also interesting how the ranch was in a episode of project blue book which is based off of real cases by Dr. Hynek. Guess people really will watch anything..... : )
