Only drawback is the black sand/mud on the beach.Short hiking trail at the end of the parking lot but good for a stroll or walk with the dog. The lower shelter has 7 picnic tables, lights, 2 barbeques, and electricity is available upon request. The park also features the Oregon Iron Company Furnace, which was placed on the National Register of Historic Places by the Department of the Interior. The beach area is very small butI’ve been to the park for a car show a few years ago, but had NO idea about the access to the river, nor the trail that leads to West Linn! If you plan to get in the river, be sure to haveits nice that the parks are interspersed in the suburban areas.
