It will take a little time to “balance”. The Select Jazz is a very good one (like Jody Jazz HR, V16, …) for the money. I used to own a Freddie Gregory Mark IV and the rollover baffle of the D’Addario Select Jazz is indeed similar to that model. Finally a company is making a really good mouthpiece for a decent price. Just for reference, my main tenor piece for 20 years has been a 7* EB STM.
