The staff was very friendly and attentive. They play Korean music most times I visit. And for the tea snobs out there, the green tea is the real deal. 3 rainbow dragon rolls for like $30. Every time we've come in they've given us a different appetizer for us to try on the house and it was always super yummy. Business Hours Sunday - Thursday.
One thing for sure is you are likely to leave on a full belly!
The food was great, I'm mostly going to be commenting on the…"The sushi here tasted amazing and the presentation was beautiful. Thank you. Definitely going back.It is a really nice place to have a good and fresh sashimi and variety of rolls, including korean foods! Great sushi at a fantastic price.
11:00am - 10:00pm. One of my favorite Sushi restaurants I've been to. My go to place!Thank you for your kind review. I think he was my HS…""OK I'm reediting my review. People in there were super nice. Don't get me wrong I love this place. Korean owned and operated, the staff is welcoming the moment you walk through the doors. Food is no longer the quality it used to be. I had the crunch combo: not crunchy.
I've never heard of this place a friend of mine took a few of us here since he lived so close. This sushi place has Korean ownership. Staff was nice and attentive. 11:00am - 9:00pm.
Hands down fantastic service fantastic food and a wonderful dining experience!!!
The waiter was bringing out many samples to us, and he said they were "on the house." Are they offering sit-down dining? How is this business operating during COVID-19? The decor is a bit outdated, especially the dividers between the tables, lots of holes kids' paintings on them, maybe it is time to replace those. Taste of food 2 out of 10. We tried this place on a whim, looking for a better sushi experiencd....and we found it.Hidden gem for sure! Low and behold my choice was fantastic.
Kumo Sushi & Lounge is an inspiration derived from traditional Japanese culture. Been back several times at 2 month intervals, since new owner took over in 2017, hoping it would get better. This WAS the best Sushi restaurant in the NW Burbs for many years.Must visit if you are in the area! The service is now hit or miss, it used to be very consistent. Happy Hour (Happy Hour price is for Dine-in only) Monday - Saturday. Contact the business for more information about recent service changes. How is this business handling reopening?
TL's Four Seasons is an excellent Chinese and Japanese restaurant. It had more flavor that way, but it was unexpected. It was all YUMMY . They were playing popular mumble rap the whole time with fowl language, place smelled like cigarettes, bad fish and farts. The staff is super friendly and looks like this place is family owned.
They also gave us complimentary strawberry ice cream. Great sushi, super fresh and friendly service! This place is a mom and pop shop with all the charm you'd hope. There are great lunch specials and it seems as though hot tea, soup, salad and a scoop of ice cream at the end of the meal is complimentary. If you are looking for an Asian food place, not a bad choice.Just had an outstanding experience at Nikko Sushi Jusarang. Afterwards the flaming dragon (yum) and then ordered the special. Their sushi is excellent too. My favorite is the shrimp tempura roll.
My kids and I were at h mart…"
I usually end up getting sushi. Are they offering takeout, delivery, or both? Complementary green tea, salad, miso and ice cream with every meal and friendly service!
I ordered some some gyoza and the crunchy combo sushi. Only wine was good. The service was very good as well--everyone was very nice and welcoming.
:)Nikko... What happened? If you ask me about authenticity, not as authentic as some of the other Japanese places in the area.
What safety measures are they taking? I highly recommend to go to this place with your dearest people. We were 5 girls and 3 toddlers - the staff was super accommodating.
It was our first visit without reservation on Thursday evening and we were seated right away. Since nearly every local sushi restaurant in the area has disappointed us in one way or another, my husband and I returned here after more than 10 years.
In 2006, under the new owner, Nikko Sushi changed its name to Nikko Sushi JuSarang and has become one of the best… Call it soggy combo. What safety measures are they taking?
The food was great, I'm mostly going to be commenting on the…"Stopped in for lunch with a friend today, and we chose some unlikely options: fried tofu, tempura shrimp spring roll, bibibop veggie and steak bowl, green tea, and moki. First time at this restaurant, the flavors are a little mild, but the quality of ingredients were excellent and fresh. "This place is a real hidden gem.
They are not as intricately made, but pretty good too.
10 stars!I came to Nikko Sushi for dinner with a couple of girlfriends last month. Under new management and unfortunately all negative changes.
This place quickly became my "go to sushi place"I wouldn't say I'm a sushi connoisseur, but I definitely know how to taste the good from the bad. I've never seen this place probably because it looks like a Korean restaurant but after searching on my handy yelp app, I found great sushi in Arlington Heights! And this place, my friends, was the worst sushi I've ever had :(. Overall great place to go if you're looking for relatively inexpensive but good sushi and great service.I came here last weekend for my friends birthday and the experience was so amazing.
But otherwise I love this place!
The fish is so fresh and there's a great variety.
This place is a hidden gem! The service is fast and there was no prolonged wait time for orders. It was all very tasty. Beautiful color and not over-brewed. Who eats that crap? I wish they would make this place bigger! I'll be back soon! It's AMAZINGF ..very simply put - there was a small piece of lint on the side of my plate which I pointed to my Server - they very politely replaced the entree and bought a complimentary entree of pan fried tilapia (I think that was it) .
Some other dude said everything was great but gave it three stars?
