I bought Tomie: Unlimited without seeing any other Tomie movies, and I also have not read the manga either. One star given because Amazon will not let me log none. Little by little, Tomie will start to show her darkest side to Tsukiko, making her nightmares come to life. It is the first film in the Tomie film series, based on a manga of the same name by Junji Ito. The resulting piece of trash that I refuse to call a film is an abomination, a travesty, and a perversion of an otherwise good series of movies. What's particularly welcome with this installment is the tightened-up pacing which adds an extra edge to the proceedings, as do the multiplying Tomies.
