Loosen the string clamp at the nut, tune up, and give the bar a good dive or two, repeat until its relatively close every time you bring it back to balance, and THEN re-tighten the nut and tune from there. My guess is a faulty output jack or pickups. Came completely intonated and set up out of the box, all I had to do was stretch the strings out. The floating bridge was even already balanced. It sounds exactly how you'd expect a Jackson to sound, the 'cheap' pickups from the factory are pretty great. Lesson learned, better to buy guitars in person. Tried contacting company/seller they never wrote back on how to get fixed through warranty.
There is very little output on my amp when I play notes, but it buzzes very noticeably at regular volume when my fingers are not touching any strings. If you don't do this, the strings will seem to never stay in tune. Hopefully this is an isolated incident. I will not buy another Jackson guitar from Amazon.
