We love Hilton Head however. There is actual I nice little restaurant at the beach. Great beach...and you have Coco's on the Beach to satisfy your thirst! Which was a good thing with seeing the stingrays, crabs and jellyfish that were around us. Only issue is no life guards. Hilton Head Island is known as one of the top vacation spots in the country, and for good reason.
There weren't many people at the beach the few days that we visited.

but unless you wanted to get stung by jellyfish the water was questionable above the ankle. Away from the maddening crowd. My husband was stung the first day within 15 minutes of going into the water. Loved seeing the Bottle nose dolphins, saw the tracks from the baby turtles that had just left their nest. We can’t wait to have a look inside. Great for biking and walking. Volleyball courts too.The water was so clear i could see my feet when i was waist deep. Saw horse shoe crabs and Sand Dollars everywhere!This beach is right outside of the condo we stayed in on our recent trip. Loved that this area was less populated.

The restaurant / bar on the beach is great for a lunch. Visit Hilton Head Island in February or March to get a taste of Lowcountry cuisine at its finest.
