Pit bull Ace was the main “demonstration dog” at Marlon Grennan’s protection dog training company Dark Dynasty K9s (DDK9s), famous for his acrobatic leaps through car windows and his ferocious drive.He was attacked by two much larger, younger dogs on June 26, 2018, at the company’s New Hampshire HQ after accidentally being let out at the same time as both of them and, crucially, a lone female.The tragic story is featured in the new season of Barcroft TV’s hit online show Dog Dynasty, which has racked up more than 150 million views on YouTube and Facebook.The show follows the fortunes of Hulk and the other DDK9 protection dogs which sell for between $5000 and $25,000 and has catapulted Hulk to global superstardom, with the loveable giant having his own dog food brand and merchandise line.DDK9s founder Marlon Grennan told Barcroft TV: “It was just the worst possible situation: one female dog and three male dogs coming out of heat.“You are talking about 300 pounds of dogs versus a dog that is 80 pounds, he didn’t stand a chance.
