We have to travel farther now that the closer one in Kirkland closed, but it's worth it as The Keg is one of our favorite steakhouses. Enjoyed the people. After a long day and flight from Dallas I wanted a good sized sit down meal & was very pleased. Prime rib was cooked to perfection, shrimp were obviously not from the Gulf of Mexico and delicious the atmosphere was very nice, actually it was upscale. For a quick supper at home, I often just eat a couple of the steaks, either seared as outlined here or cooked in a grill pan (if I want some nice black lines) before finishing them off in the oven. It seemed like he was making an effort, but the place was pretty busy so it sometimes took a while for him to reappear. I was going to send it back and just scrap it, but my husband said I shouldn't give up.
