I didn't see anyone else on the trail until the last 15 minutes, which was super nice. Many wildflowers and lots of greenery and lovely oak groves. Not much traffic, and the trail is well kept. They need to mark the two different trail left and loop right at the fork in the trail.
The trail is primarily used for hiking and is best used from May until October.Slow incline clockwise around the loop. Is it the most scenic hike, no but it is still a well maintained trail with long areas of shade and a great work out as some of the uphills make you work if you push yourself.Very beautiful. Once past that point, there are really no places to stray off the correct path. There are a couple of intersections where you may want to use your GPS all trails map to determine which way to go as the trail is not marked. really beautiful i loved itWatch out for horse poop, and wear long pants to avoid getting stuck with a few briars. The bugs were constant but a little but of DEET and a wide-brimmed hat made everything just fine. :)As the other reviews say, don't follow the arrow. The previous reviews were correct, ignore the first arrow pointing left and bear right. Long pants are best because the trail is overgrown in places.Quiet, easy trail, great wildflowers. Go clockwise on the loop.Be careful to NOT follow the first arrow sign to the left on the trail as that is NOT the loop trail. This is an OK trail. The wildflowers are always outstanding, especially the lupine at the beginning (except this year). Length 4.7 mi Elevation gain 1,000 ft Route type Loop So many pretty spots all along here though.Great but don’t be deceived as others just mentioned. Only better view from this side is likely Ute Peak. If you stay in one place for too long they will find you. Tons of wildflowers in bloom right now! A great hike with just s little steepness. From there, one can return downhill, or connect to other locations, near or far. There are some pretty dope views of the Gore Range as well.Wildflowers are everywhere on 7/11/2020 and hardly anyone on the trail even on a Saturday. Wouldn’t go out of my way for it.The trail is nice, but there are lots of ticks. The trail took me 2 hours to complete with a few stops.
Nice Views Nice trail but it is narrow- bring water and be aware of bikersA very simple out and back. when you get there, you’re walking and then trees open up and all of a sudden BOOM MOUNTAINS. This trail is a nice option not too far from Dillon and Silverthorne that doesn't seem to get the same crowds as similar trails across the valley in the Gore Range. perfect for a toddler. A couple folks had dogs off-leash. This trail is not on the map at the trailhead and you have to go right to get to this trail even though the arrow points left, that is for a different trail.Great hike. I know I'm new to this but I would rate this trail easy plus or moderate, as there are a few spots where the elevation rise was challenging for me.Beautiful trail! Some good views but a lot of time the brush is too high to see much. Stream crossings were manageable but may difficult in the next coming weeks with high flow.

But a lovely trail overall.Whoops. Definitely go right at the arrow sign, do not follow the arrow. Beautiful view of gore Range. After that (if you are going clockwise) it is all downhill. But several routes where difficult to pass due to remaining pockets of deep snow.Beautiful views and incredible wildflowers in mid-JulyThis was a beautiful hike! Trail is easy to walk on, very few rocks etc. Beautiful views of snow capped mountains in the Gore Range. I walked back via the road just to change it up and it’s a very short walk, albeit rather dangerous on the narrow shoulder on a windy road.
This trail is really great though....beautiful meadows with willows, great views of Ptarmigan and Ute peaks.
What a beautiful meander through several different landscapes! Map Anthem. ft. single-family home is a 4 bed, 2.0 bath property. As many have mentioned in previous comments do not follow the arrow pointing to the left. Be cautious for ticks and poison oak - the grasses are tall and it'd be hard to keep a dog away from them. Still a lovely area, clear trail— no snow or mud today. There are three stream crossings to be exact and all are pretty easy to cross if you don't mind getting your feet or boots a little wet, however they are more full with run off early on. I didn't like hearing the crackling transmission lines in the beginning but other than that it was a nice hike. August 24th hike. We went on a Monday morning and encountered only one other group the whole time.
